As the world faces an escalating array of development and humanitarian crises, CID Annual Conference 2025 seeks to empower global stakeholders to harness the power of collaboration and innovation. From the aftermath of natural disasters in Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea to conflicts in Gaza and Sudan, this conference will spotlight the challenges faced by communities and the urgent need for coordinated action. This year's conference will bring together NGOs, government agencies, private sector innovators, and community leaders to explore actionable strategies for collective impact. Delegates will dive into real-world examples of development in action with case study presentations from leaders in the sector.

Marking CID’s 40 Year Anniversary this year’s conference will be held as an intensive one-day programme held at Te Papa, Wellington on 20 August 2025.

Conference 2025 will feature experts and speakers from across the world featured in keynote address, panel discussions, breakout concurrent workshops and numerous networking opportunities while enjoying morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, networking drinks & canapes and the Official Awards Dinner. 

The Annual CID Collaboration and Photo Awards will be featured and announced at the Official Awards Dinner including a keynote address from Rt Hon Winston Peters, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
